Happy Labor Day Weekend!
I hope you are able to carve out a little fun crafting time during the USA holiday weekend!
The Dare 2B Artzy Challenge for this month is to create shaped cards.
I needed gifts for some tea loving friends so I used some great tea stamps and dies to create these fun gift tags.
I started by creating a tag base. By folding some card stock and positioning the teapot die with the fold slightly inside the die, a tag is created so you can open it and write a little message. I stamped the teapot image from Tea 4 Two multiple times and colored the images with Copic markers.
I used the following Copic combinations, (B21, B24, B26), (C1, C3, C5), (YG11, G14, G17), (Y17, YR16, R05), and (RV02, RV04, RV09). I then die cut the teapots, added some accents with Wink of Stella and Glaze pens, attached a few gems, adhered them to the tag bases, and my tags were ready for the gifts!
I did a little stamping on the inside of the tags, too!
I hope you will join the Ship Shape Challenge! A winning entry will be randomly chosen at the end of the challenge. That person will get to select a Dare 2B Artzy stamp set and ink pad!
We would also love to see your Dare 2B Artzy creations on Instagram! If you make any projects using D2BA products, just post them using #dare2bartzy so we can be inspired by YOU!
Happy stamping!
