Welcome to Dare 2B Artzy‘s Blog Hop!

We are celebrating the release of our new stamps, paper, dies, and STENCILS!

There are so many fun new products that our Artzy Design Team decided to have a Blog Hop to show off some of the amazing new things!

For my card, I chose to use the new Happy Birthday Layer Die Set.

This set includes the layered happy birthday as well as a fun balloon!

I began by taping down a piece of watercolor paper to my work surface.  I then spritzed the paper with water and added Ken Oliver’s Color Bursts using the Caribbean Brights Collection.  I kept spritzing with water and adding Color Burst powders until I had some really fun color combinations on my paper!

I had a blast selecting areas of the Color Burst paper to die cut using the balloon and the background layer dies for the words!  I then cut out the top layers for the happy birthday from white card stock and adhered to my card front.  After adhering the balloons, I took a black Micron pen and added strings to the balloons.

  5. I really like this technique, the colors are so vibrante! … I would love to win the stencil/stamps, as I’ve not played with them before.

  18. This card is so bright and fun!!! The colors are perfect and I love the stamps and dies used. I would be excited to receive a card like that.
