Dreaming of Flowers!

Happy Sunday!
I am thankful to say that we are having some warmer weather in Ohio so I am no longer just dreaming of flowers.  There are actually some blooming right now!  I have two cards for you today as well as a special card from my great friend, Renee!

May’s Dare 2B Artzy Challenge is Dreaming of Flowers.  I hope you will link up your wonderful flower creations on the Dare 2B Artzy blog so we can be inspired by you!  Linking your creations enters you in the drawing for some fabulous Dare 2B Artzy products!

My first card for this month is a see-through card made with the Trellis Background Die.  I die cut two of these gorgeous dies, scored across the top of the second one, and adhered it to the front trellis.  Next, I cut circles from the Circle Framelits and adhered them to the card front as well as the inside of the card.  I also cut one circle from white for the inside of the card to allow space for writing a quick note to the recipient.

I stamped the flowers from the Poppy Power set and colored them with the following Copic markers: (R14, R37, R59).  The sentiment was stamped and embossed with a sentiment from the Power Poppy set.

I fussy cut the flowers and adhered them to the card front.  My second card is stamped from the same set and colored with the same Copic markers.

After stamping the flower images and the sentiment from the Beary Special Sentiments stamp set, I die cut the stamped panel and the card base using the Rectangle Framelits.

The special bonus card for today comes from Renee!  She made an “Impossible Card” using D2BA Refresh the Soul stamps and dies, the Blissful Bloom stamp set, and gorgeous paper from the Summertime Petals Collection.  I know you will enjoy her card as much as I did!

Thanks again, Renee, for letting me share your beautiful card!

Happy stamping!
Melody
