Dare 2B Artzy’s Favorite Color Challenge!

Hello, Stampers!
Are you ready for the September Challenge over at Dare 2B Artzy?  This month’s challenge is to make a project using your favorite color.  I have so many favorite colors that I decided to go with the colors of my favorite season…fall!

I am currently participating in 30 Days of Lists so this was the perfect time to make a library pocket book mini-album from Dare 2B Artzy’s beautiful line of autumn papers called the Fall Harvest Collection Paper Pack!

I began by using a Library Pocket Book Kit from the Paper Cut.  After covering the covers with the gorgeous autumn paper from Dare 2B Artzy, I decorated the front using the new Wavy Squares Die Set.

Leaves, flowers, and an acorn were cut directly from the patterned paper using the D86 Foxy Greetings Die and the D76 Squirrel Die.  The amazing thing about these dies is that they cut the images from the coordinating stamp sets as well as the images on the patterned papers!

D2BA has also released a set of decorative dies that includes the die to make the tabs shown above.  This tab die is great for planners and Bible journaling, too!  Watch for it to be added to the Dare 2B Artzy website soon!

As you can see, each of the inside pockets was embellished with papers from the Fall Harvest Collection Paper Pack.  The papers were die cut with the Wavy Squares Die Set.  Now all that’s left is to complete the daily lists and adhere them to the pockets and tags in this library pocket book mini-album!

I hope you’ll participate in the Favorite Color Challenge.  At the end of the month, a participant is randomly selected to win a stamp set and ink pad of their choice!  Don’t miss out!

Happy stamping!
Melody
