Cards

Who’s Ready for Fall?

Happy Friday!
Are you ready for autumn?  I know I surely am, and I’m kicking off the fall season just a little early with today’s cards!

The first card starts with Yupo paper and alcohol inks.  I used Pistachio, Coral, and Dandelion alcohol inks by Ranger to create the colorful background.  Next, I placed the gorgeous leaves from Dare 2B Artzy’s Tangle Leaves set in the MISTI.  After inking the stamps with Alcohol Lift-Ink, I stamped on the panel.  I love the way the Lift-Ink does exactly what it says and lifts that ink right off!  I then placed a porous piece of card stock in my Misti and stamped off on that.  You can easily create a second card with the images you stamped off on the card stock!

After dabbing the excess Lift-Ink from the Yupo paper with a paper towel, I used a circular motion with a clean portion of the paper towel to really expose the areas where the ink had been lifted off.  I die cut the panel with a stitched border die included in the Dare 2B Artzy Cupcake Die, mounted the panel to my card base, and then added the Thanks Layer Die to complete this colorful card.

My second card uses some brand new products from Dare 2B Artzy!

I love this new Wacky Box Background Die!  I layered it over a piece of the Woodland Animals Paper which can be found in the Fall Harvest Collection Paper Pack.  After layering the circles cut with the Double Dot Circle Framelits, I used the new Hello Layer Die to add my sentiment.  This new hello die set will be coming to the D2BA website soon.

Don’t forget to enter the September Challenge at Dare 2B Artzy!

It’s all about creating a project with your own favorite colors!  Just link up your projects HERE for a chance to win the prize shown below!

Happy stamping!
