Lotus in Bloom – Two Ways!

Hi, Stampers!
Dare 2B Artzy released wonderful new products at Creativation last weekend!  If you missed the video of their booth with the new products, be sure and check out the video HERE!

I have fallen in love with the Lotus in Bloom Stamp Set!  The images can be colored in so many different ways that I actually have two cards to share with you today!
The Lavender Lotus Paper was die cut with the stitched rectangle from the Leaf Background Die.  The floral and berry images were stamped with D2BA’s Totally Black Ink.

The images were colored with the following Copic marker combinations:
(RV10, RV02, RV04, RV09) and (YG03, YG17, G99).  The flowers and berries were then cut out with the Lotus Die.  The sentiment was also stamped from the Lotus in Bloom Stamp Set.  After the white card stock was die cut using the Oval Scalloped Framelits Die, everything was mounted to the card base.

The second card uses the exact same supplies as the card above except for the paper.  The background paper on this card is called Breezy Berries.

After doing a little research, I learned that the lotus flower grows in a multitude of colors so you might being seeing them again in the future with a different color combination!

One of the great things about Dare 2B Artzy is that their papers are often designed so that the dies that cut out the stamped images also cut some images out of their paper!  Isn’t that paper gorgeous?!!!

Hope you have a crafty weekend ahead of you, and please don’t forget to enter the January Challenge at Dare 2B Artzy for a chance to win a prize!

Happy stamping!
Melody
