Wishing You an Unforgettable Birthday!

Happy Friday!
You know what they say about elephants!  Well…I am wishing you a very unforgettable birthday with a reverse easel card using Dare 2B Artzy’s brand new Baby Elephant Stamp Set!

This reverse easel card folds flat for easy mailing!

The card base is 4 1/4″ x 11″ and is scored at 5 1/2″.  Then the base is turned over and scored again at 2 3/4″.  After the card is folded in half on the center score line, the top half is folded up.  This gives you the reverse of a typical easel card.  The layering pieces were cut from the Hats Off Paper using the rectangle stitched die included in the Leaf Background Die Set.

After the Hats Off layering papers were adhered, two of the card stock circles were adhered to the top panel portion only.  These die cut pieces were die cut using the Double Dot Circle Framelit Dies.  A third circle was die cut and adhered to the inside of the base so that when the card was closed, you could not see that circle.

After stamping the images and sentiment from the Baby Elephant Stamp Set, the images were colored with the following Copic Marker combinations: (C1, C3, C5, C7, C9), (YR04, YR18, YR09), (E07, E13), (BG13, BG05, BG09), (Y08, Y17, Y28), and R20.
Accents were added with Sakura Glaze Pens 850, 829, 803, 805, and 800.  Nuvo Glitter Gloss was added to the dots on the gift.  All of the images were die cut using the Baby Elephant Die.  There is a heart in this set, too.  I die cut it, popped it up with foam tape, and added it to the circle with the sentiment to keep the easel card open.
Please check out the sentiments in this fun set as the set can be used to create cards for other occasions and also for words of encouragement!

Don’t forget to add your projects to the February Challenge at D2BA!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Happy stamping!
