Hello, Stampers!
There is a new challenge over at the Dare 2B Artzy Blog, and it’s all about masculine birthday cards!  I am using the Anchors Away stamp set for my masculine birthday card!

I began by doing some ink blending with D2BA’s Sunset Yellow and Bright Pumpkin Inks.  These inks blend beautifully with the blender brushes!  I adhered this ink blended panel to my card base behind a piece of Radiant Hibiscus Paper from which a circle had been die cut using the Circle Framelits.  I created a frame for this circle by layering two of the Circle Framelits onto white card stock and diecutting.

Both anchors were stamped with D2BA’s Midnight Blue Ink.  The helm was stamped with Chocolate Chip Ink.  After stamping the sentiment from the You’ve Got Mail stamp set and the sailboat with Totally Black Ink, the sailboat was colored with the following Copic combinations: (YR04, YR18, TR09), (B24, B26, B28), (E31, E35, E37), and BG07.  Accents were added with a Sakura Glaze #805 Pen.

All of the images were die cut using the Anchors Away Dies.
