I have to admit that I love a fun play on words, and the newly released Christmoose Stamp Set from Dare 2B Artzy just makes me smile!
I think we all need a little Christmoose right this very minute! Don’t you?!!
I began by cutting a piece of Dare 2B Artzy’s Frosty Chalet Paper with the stitched rectangle from the Leaf Background Die.
Next, I die cut a circle from that panel using a circle framelit so I could transform the circle into an ornament! I adhered a piece of acetate behind the opening, added an ornament topper, and attached three of the stamped mistletoe images to the top of the ornament along with some silver twine. The mistletoe images were stamped with Margarita Lime Ink. The bow was traced with a Sakura Glaze #819 pen.
The moose images were stamped with D2BA’s Totally Black Ink and colored with the following Copic Marker combinations: (R14, R29, R46), (BG13, BG05, BG09), (E31, E35, E37, E29), and (R43, RV14, RV06). The moose were die cut using the Christmoose Die. They were adhered to the red card stock panel behind the acetate. This entire piece was then adhered to a turquoise card base. The sentiment was stamped with a WOW! Embossing Pad and embossed using WOW! Opaque Bright White Regular Embossing Powder. This set has five different sentiments and can even be used to create a birthday card!
Now, sometimes, you don’t have a lot of time to color…right?
Dare 2B Artzy has us covered during those times, too!
Check out the Chocolate Moose Paper below.
The dies that cut out the stamped moose images will also cut out several of the images from Dare 2B Artzy’s two-sided patterned paper!
My second card for today was made using both sides of the Chocolate Moose Paper!
I followed the same steps as above except there was no coloring! This is a time saver when you need a card quickly!
Don’t forget about the Favorite Color Challenge on the Dare 2B Artzy Blog! You have until Saturday, October 5, to link up your entry! The randomly drawn winner will get a $15 gift certificate!
There’s also lots of fun happening in the Artzy Community Facebook group including a sneak peek of an upcoming release that works with the Leaf Background Die. You will definite want to join that Facebook group and see what is in the works! You can also share your D2BA creations so we can all be inspired by what you make!
