Happy New Year, Dare 2B Artzy Fans!
D2BA is starting off 2020 with a new challenge, and it’s all about winter!
I love to cozy up with a good book and a cup of tea during the cold and gloomy winter months in Ohio. Lots of my friends do, too, so one of them is going to get my Winter Challenge project! 🙂
After stamping the teapot from the Tea 4 Two Stamp Set, I colored it with the following Copic Marker combinations: (R14, R37, R39), (BG13, BG05, BG09), and (C1, C3). Accents were added with Sakura Glaze Pens #850 and #849.
The teapot was die cut with the Teapot Die.
The tag was created with a sentiment from the Serenity Tea Stamp Set and D2BA’s Circle Framelits.
I used Frosty Chalet, Wooly Winter, and Doodles-Pomegranate Paper to create the tea bag holder. Many thanks to Meg Loven for the directions which can be found on her blog HERE.
I can’t wait to see your winter creations on the Dare 2B Artzy Blog! If you haven’t already joined the “Artzy Community” on Facebook, I would encourage you to do so! There are always fun things happening there, and we would love for you to share your D2BA projects there, too!
Happy stamping…and stay warm!
Melody
Wow! I don’t know how you created this (even though you told us what dies you used!) but it’s awesome! And – did I ever tell you that I appreciate you listing the Copic colors you used? Now that I’ve started using Copics more, it’s very helpful, and I can look at what colors I may need to add to my collection!
