There’s quite the buzz around the February release from Divinity Designs!
My first card uses images and a sentiment from the new Bee-lieve Stamp/Die Duo. The background was created using the fabulous Quilted Honeycomb Background Die. I die cut the honeycomb out of papers from the Fall Favorites Paper Pad, and I am having so much fun creating multiple backgrounds at once. You will see several cards made from these backgrounds during the next few weeks!
I am still crushing over the Divinity Designs Blessings Box. The Shaker Heart Frame from the Blessings Box was used to create the shaker element on the front of my card! Floral accents were added with the Bitty Blossoms Dies.
DD has also made it easier to cut and score both portrait and landscape A2 sized cards with new dies designed explicitly for that purpose! I used the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layers along with the Matting Rectangle Die for the shaker card!
The new Quatrefoil Embossing Folder with Matching Dies makes beautiful cards and envelopes!
I created the background by inking up the embossing folder before running it through my Vagabond 2. You can change up the look by inking different sides of the embossing folder as shown in the photo below!
Ink blending brushes were used to apply ink through the openings on the die after the die was cut and embossed. It’s nice to be able to use multiple techniques with these products. The friend die is part of the Celebration Words Die Set. I even put the flap of my envelope in the embossing folder and embossed it! It added an elegant touch to the envelope flap!
