Happy first day of March, Dare 2B Artzy Friends!

Am I the only one who is looking at the latest challenge on the Dare 2B Artzy blog and is now humming the song written by Cole Porter? 🙂

I hope you will join in this month’s challenge!

I used the Wild Flower Stencil from D2BA to create my ink blended background.  It’s my all time favorite stencil!
After creating the background, I stamped and embossed the butterfly and florals from the Butterfly Inspiration Stamp Set.  Although the embossing looks black in my photo, it really is a beautiful gold!  After coloring the images with Zig Clean Color Markers, I die cut them using the Joyful Butterfly Die.

The shaker element was created using the D2BA Oval Framelits.  I used one die for the bottom layer upon which I stamped the sentiment from the newly released Well Wishes Stamp Set.  I layered two of the dies to create the shaker frame.

On a personal note, I just had to share some photos from Stages St. Louis when my son was performing in Anything Goes!  Time flies!  These photos were taken in 2015!
