Dare 2B Artzy May Challenge

Hello, Dare 2B Artzy Friends!
It’s the first Sunday in May so it is time for a new challenge on the Dare 2B Artzy blog! This month’s challenge is “In the Garden!” I hope you will link your garden creations to the May challenge to be eligible to win a $15 gift certificate!

I have a friend who loves flowers and could use some encouragement during these crazy times so this card is for her! The best part about this card is that I used ink blending brushes with some Dare 2B Artzy inks to make the coloring quick and easy!

The stamps used on the card included Find Your Purpose and Get Well.

I began by stamping the middle flower image with a WOW! Embossing Pad and embossing with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Regular Embossing Powder. I then masked the center flower and repeated the process two more times. After the embossing was completed, I used ink blending brushes with D2BA’s Sunset Yellow, Bright Pumpkin, and Chocolate Chip inks to color the flowers.

I did a little fussy cutting along the bottom edge, and glued the flower panel to a card base that had been covered with paper from D2BA called Lemons & Ladybugs. To complete the card, I stamped a sentiment from the newly released Get Well Stamp Set. This stamp set is filled with wonderful sentiments!
