Warm Your Heart with the Coffee Lovers Hop!

Happy Friday!
Today is the first day of the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop, and there are tons of prizes to be won if you link up your coffee, tea, or hot cocoa project!  Dare 2B Artzy is a sponsor for this hop!

I began by stamping the coffee cup and coffee beans from the Perfect Blend Stamp Set with Totally Black Ink.  I used post-it tape to mask off the sleeve on the cup and stamped flowers from the Paisley Peacock Stamp Set onto the sleeve.  The cup and beans were colored with the following Copic marker combinations: (B24, B16, B18), (C00, C1), (YR16, YR09), (E51, E21) and E29.  The cup and beans were die cut using the Coffee Cup Die.

I then stamped the sentiment from the Perfect Blend Stamp Set.  The circles were die cut using the Circle Framelits.
The new Circle Background Die reminded me of coffee stains, of the fancy patterns baristas make on coffee,  and of steam so I thought it would make the perfect background for this coffee card!  I also die cut the steam twice…once from white card stock and once from vellum.  I layered the vellum over the card stock before attaching the steam to the card base.
