Artzy Fun with Karen Burniston Pop-Up Dies!

Happy Friday, Crafters!
Dare 2B Artzy and Riley and Company are in cahoots to bring you a fun-filled blog hop featuring the Karen Burniston Pop-up Dies and D2BA stamps and dies!  I had a blast combining products from these two great companies to create today’s project!  You should’ve arrived here from the blog of the very talented Frances Byrne!

Have you ever looked at a pop-up card and thought it was beyond your capabilities?  Well, fear not!

This Paper Frames Pop-up was easy to create, and you can see how easy it was HERE on YouTube!
I began with an A2 sized portrait card base and covered the front and insides with D2BA’s Honey Bear Paper which I had die cut with the stitched rectangle from the Leaf Background Die.  I then die cut the Paper Frames Pop-up and followed Karen Burniston’s excellent video on how it was to be assembled!

Next came the fun part of decorating!  The layers on the pop-up are included right in the Paper Frames Pop-up Die Set!

The pitcher is from Dare 2B Artzy’s Refresh the Soul Stamp Set.  After coloring with Copic markers and accenting with Sakura Glaze Pens, the images were die cut using the Water Pitcher Dies.  The plant and sentiments are from D2BA’s Best Teacher Set with coordinating dies.

Check out the fun gardening implements and gloves from Karen Burniston’s Garden Charms Die Set!  I am in love with her charms!  You can also see a video about these charms HERE!  I chose to not use them as charms so I just snipped off the charm circles with my scissors!

The front of my card was stamped with this wonderful sentiment from the D2BA Heart of a Teacher Stamp Set.  The sentiment was layered on the Rectangle Framelits from Dare 2B Artzy. The plant and flower pot are from the Garden Charms Set, and the heart was die cut from the D2BA Teacher Die.

I bet you know a teacher who has gone above the call of duty during these trying times to help students and could use a fun thank you!

To celebrate our blog hop, we have four great prizes to give away. You will have the chance to win one of two $25 Gift Certificates to use on the KB Riley – Karen Burniston Dies website or one of two $25 Gift Certificates to use on the Dare 2B Artzy website.
Make sure you join the hop and comment on everyone’s blog post for your chance to win one of these prizes. Winners will be randomly chosen from the comments left on ALL THE POSTS received by Friday, June 26, 2020!

Enjoy the remainder of the hop, and I hope you will check out these fun products!  Your next stop on the blog hop is Karen Aicken!  If you want to see the order of the hop in its entirety, please check out the list below!
