Many of my friends and family are throwing card showers for their loved ones since we cannot be together during these times to celebrate special events. My sister-in-law’s mother is turning eighty next week and since there cannot be a big party to celebrate, we are trying to flood her mailbox with birthday cards!

Dare 2B Artzy’s Leaf Background Die makes creating cards for all occasions a snap! The die set comes with the stitched rectangle, the gorgeous leaf background, and a separate die which cuts a leaf shape or this little bird! For this quick card, I used the bird and sentiments from D2BA’s Little Birdie Stamp Set. The bird was colored with the following Copic Marker combinations: (R14, R37, R39), (BG13, BG05, BG09), and (YR04, YR18). The coloring was simple and easy!

Dare 2B Artzy has another set of sentiments that have been designed to fit perfectly into the leaf/bird space. It is called Well Wishes. I am currently creating lots of cards with this die set and the Well Wishes Stamp Set so I can quickly mail out a card to cheer someone’s day!
