If you love the new mini slimline sized cards as much as I do, you are going to love the new dies from Dare 2B Artzy! You won’t have to go searching anymore for an envelope in which to mail them either!

I am always in need of birthday cards so I was very excited to see the Slim-Mini Birthday Die! I couldn’t wait to make a birthday shaker card with it!

I began by cutting a card base that measures 6″ x 6 1/2″. I cut the Scoops of Thanks Paper with one of the three dies included in the Slim-Mini Birthday Dies. I love the dotted detail around the edge of that die! The green card stock layer was die cut with another nice basic rectangle included in the set! The inclusion of these two basic dies gives the crafter lots of versatility in creating with this set. You can use it to create all kinds of mini slimline cards not just ones for a birthday!
After die cutting the birthday layer, I backed it with acetate and lined the edges with foam tape. The Scoops of Thanks Paper has some fun sprinkles on it so I thought my Brutus Monroe Clay Sprinkles Shaker Mix would be perfect!

I think my recipient will love the coordinating envelope, too! You can seal the envelope with adhesive or use the fun closure element included in the Slim-Mini Envelope Die!
