Clean and Simple Christmas Cards with Dare 2B Artzy!

Happy Friday!
Have you seen the December Challenge on the Dare 2B Artzy Blog? It’s all about clean and simple cards!

I am showcasing two clean and simple cards using the Rockin’ Holiday Stamp Set. I used the Rockin’ Holiday Die to cut out my stamped image as well as an image from the A Rockin’ Christmas Paper Pack!

For my first card, I stamped the rocking horse with D2BA’s Totally Black Ink and colored it with the following Copic Marker combinations: (B02, B04, B06), (YG11, G14, G17), (R14, R08, R29), and (Y02, Y17, YR16). I die cut the horse using the Rockin’ Holiday Die Set. Other dies used on both cards include the Circle Framelits and the Rectangle Framelits. The patterned papers used to create the card base were the Peace Love Joy Borders Paper Pack and the Bright Blooms Paper Pack!
The sentiment was stamped with Dare 2B Artzy’s Pomegranate Ink. The sentiment is also from the Rockin’ Holiday Stamp Set!

My second card is even faster to create! I just die cut one of the rocking horses directly from the A Rockin’ Christmas Paper and popped it up on the card front with foam tape! I love the fact that D2BA papers have coordinating stamp and die sets! It doesn’t get much simpler than that!
I hope you’ll link up a project to the December Challenge! You could win a $15 gift card to the Dare 2B Artzy Store!

Happy stamping!
Melody

  1. I love when you show the same card created with an image you colored and the image cut from the paper! I love them both but of course I always prefer your colored image! πŸ’•

  2. They may be simple but the way you add the extra layers makes these CAS cards so pretty. Love how you showed your beautifully colored image on one with the cut out on the other.
