Hello!  I am having so much fun creating with the newly released Dare 2B Artzy stamps, dies, and papers!

Who wouldn’t love to receive this fun card especially when the sender promises to “Alpaca the cake!”

I began by stamping the adorable alpaca, cake, and cactus from the Alpaca Cake Stamp Set.  I used the D2BA Totally Black Ink as it is Copic Marker friendly.

The images were colored with the following Copic Marker combinations: (C1, C3, C5, C7), (YG11, G14, G17), (R14, R29, R59), and (BG13, BG05, BG09).

To make the alpaca’s fur, I applied some Copic Colorless Blender Solution from a refill to a small piece of towel.  I pressed the towel onto the alpaca where I wanted the texture.  I love using this technique to add texture to all kinds of animals!

I added other accents using Sakura Glaze Pens and Glossy Accents.
The alpaca, cake, and cactus were die cut using the Alpaca Die.

The two rectangles were cut using the new Rectangle Framelits.  After die cutting these layers, I stamped the sentiment and banner from the Alpaca Cake Stamp Set onto the white piece.  These were adhered to a card base covered with Pitcher This Paper.  These stripes just screamed celebration to me! 🙂

I have a cousin who creates scarves using alpaca yarn.  Don’t tell her, but I see an entire set of these alpaca cards in her future!
